The food is also delicious.
Great food, great service! A bit far away from the subway exit tho, worthy enough to visit
The best Currie I have eaten in a while but charge a lot for some extra rice.
Very delicious! good portions! recommend!
jmtgr!!!!!! Awesome!!!!
so nice
It can be tough to find good food around Hongdae - If you need a break from Korean food (which you should be eating if you are visiting Seoul) this is a Thai spot with an expertly planned and artfully executed menu. They have sticky rice which is an immediate indication of 👌 and they have a well interpreted version of the Thai/Lao dish Laap which is hard to find and another indicator of excellence. Also don’t miss the sausages, authentic to the region & perfectly spiced. Best Thai I’ve had in Seoul so far.
The most authentic tasting Thai food outside of Thailand. There are a good variety of foods, and an easygoing atmosphere. Michelin guide rated food without the fuss. Really easy for foreigners since there are pictures for most menu items. The yellow curry is not to be missed.
Delicious and reasonable Thai restaurant in SeoulNoodle and rice dishes are reasonable and delicious. But I didn’t eat a CUISINE yet, because of expensive price. If you want to go here, you need to walk few minutes from the subway staitions (Here is located between St. Gajwa and Hongik University). And you should wait much time at the dinner time or every weekend.
The area didn't make me to believe there will be anything good, but because of planet guide book recommendation we decided to check this place. Finally we found good thai restaurant. We took pad Thai and red curry, i can recommend both dishes.
Very much Thai with decent local beer
Would not recommend. Pad Thai was subpar and had a faint taste of ketchup. I went to try their Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao, 팟키마오) only to find out they got rid of half their menu in June. Big let down. The wait wasn't as bad as I expected though. I got their around 6:45 with 6 groups in front of me and I only waited 10 minutes.
not amazed
Was good, but not as much as expectation and their own reputation.
Cute decor inside, and food is very delicious! Pad thai (13000 KRW) and fried squid curry (22000 KRW) were not greasy at all and tastefully seasoned. If you order to go for remaining food, they charge 100 KRW. Also, rice is 2000 KRW. Will definitely come back for a set menu!
Good thai restaurant with reasonable price in this area. Valet parking is possible during the weekend, but you have to park yourself at their parking lot un weekdays. The problem is, if someone else is leaving and your car is on the way, you will have to move the car first and re-park because the lot is small. Other than that, the dining and atmosphere were fine :)
You should visit here on opening time to avoid waiting. On Sunday 1:30pm, I waited 30 min to get a table. Servers were kind and they explained the ingredients in the dish.l when I asked it.
Good food, with a wide variety of thai dishes. The two floors have different closing times, and is quite busy so is better to make appointment.
AMAZING FOOD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
I was so happy because i think i finally find a thai restaurant which have similat taste with the one in the states. I loved the food when I first time went there, but the second visit was just okay. I guess their taste is not always same. I'm jsut wishing they didn't change their chef or something.
One of two thai places I'll keep coming back to. Taste was not ruined by localization/fusion. Line was long, but we came at the right time, so cant complain. Staff was nice too.
Perfect Thai food
So good^^
The oyster stir fried is very delish!!!
Nothing special..
It is a little expensive (for example rice costs 2,000won and the cheapest meals are like 15,000won) and there is usually a wait but it is worth it. They have a huge menu and the food is pretty tasty. Also, the surrounding neighborhood is great to walk around in afterwards.
Great Thai food. Has recently moved to a more spacious place. Doesn't offer parking.
Pad kee mao⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tasty
Not too mixed with Korean taste. More authentic feeling. Great Thai tea.
I see why this place is so highly ranked. The food was delicious. I got the green papaya salad and the like rib noodle soup. So good! Service was a bit slow.
Hot place right on the spot! there is a long line waiting before going in so please be ready. We have ordered Boo Paht Pong Karee and phad see ew gai, taste were good bit salty tho. Their service was okay probably busy with serving. One of the best thai restaurant that hard to find around here. I would visit again and recommend this place.
Brilliant....enuff said
One of the most popular Thai restaurants in the city, yet the flavor was somewhat blunt.
Very friendly, great foods. One of the best Thai restaurant in Seoul. But at lunch time you may wait for more than 40 mins.
Very delicious Thai food. We had to wait about 40min until to get a table. Was worth it.
A bit pricey, but food is authentic and good.
Try the TFC, Thai fried chicken! ~20,000 KRW
Ha! This is arguably the best Thai in the neighborhood. There's a basement spot that's really good and another sitting under a bakery that's popular with the locals, but this place sits on top.Get here early or you're looking at a ling wait, especially during lunch and dinner hours. No recommendations here, just order anything and you'll be fine.
You have to expect to wait (ever since it was featured on a food program in Korea), but you'll be rewarded with the food. There's a variety of amazing Thai options, and flavors are spot-on. Enjoyed every dish, but the service needs refining.
Michelin Bib GOurmand winner. Authentic Food and nice service at a reasonable price
Good Thai food.
The skewers were fantastic but the squid was sort of bland
My fav Thai restaurant in Seoul! pretty decent😆
Really good compared to any other Thai in Seoul!
It's okay but a but expensive. I wouldn't necessarily go back. I had tom yang soup, tuk tuk noodles, fried rice, squid dish.
bit expensive. delicious :) you don't have to queue if you go there at their opening time or around 9pm. They have a variety of wines so you can go there for wines and snack too.
Ok
Arrived at the restaurant around 9. Two of the dishes we wanted to order ( Morning glory vegetables with pork and steamed scallop in black pepper sauce) were sold out. The dishes were delicious except the pad see ew with beef. It's similar to the Chinese dish of fried rice noodles with beef ( except this one has different kinds of vegetables)
really nice. one of few restaurants that listed on Guide Michelin twice in a row in Korea, Rep. starts at 1pm on weekends
Thai food to die for!!!!! The wait is insanely long, but worth it every single time. Best Thai food in Korea, in my opinion.
